If someone is similarly able to live on an iceberg, in hot water, in a desert, and on top of a mountain, you can say she or he is adaptable and has a lot of adaptability. This means she or he is able to make changes in response according to atmosphere.

Other way Adaptability is a soft skill or an ability to adjust according to new situations, changes, or environments. It involves being able to respond to unexpected or unfamiliar circumstances in a flexible and effective way without being unduly affected by stress or uncertainty.

Being adaptable means that one can easily shift their approach or mindset in response to changing circumstances, whether it is workplace, personal life, or other areas. Adaptability requires the ability to learn quickly, be open to new ideas & feedback, and embrace change with a positive attitude.

How to Develop Adaptability Skills?

There are people who are inherited with adaptability skills and communicate smartly when any changes happen around them. But there is a also class of people who presses panic button when any changes happen around him and if you are one of them you can opt following ways to develop adaptability skills: –

  1. Embrace change: Instead of resisting or fearing change, try to view it as an opportunity for growth and learning.
  2. Practice flexibility: Be open to different perspectives and willing to adjust your approach as needed.
